Getting to do a wedding for your friends is one of the best things, as you get to capture the joy of people you love on camera for them to look at for forever. Bonus: my first ever trip to Scotland!
This beautiful wedding took place at Rosslea Hall Hotel, Helensburgh, in August. We all had our fingers crossed for good weather for an outdoor ceremony, but it was not to be. However, the ceremony inside the hotel was lovely and it did not take anything away from a great day.
One fun fact from this wedding which I absolutely loved - the bridesmaids were told to pick their own dresses and out of complete coincidence they picked almost identical dresses! I love it when things like that happen.
Anyway, enjoy looking through the photos of this joyous wedding that was a wonderful mix of Canadian, Scottish, Jewish and South African cultures. They even had a snack cart at the reception with snacks from each country - a genius idea!
Thank you for joining me over here! If you don't know me, I'm Livi: a photographer from Cambridge. I love to knit, bake and read - yes, I am indeed a twenty-something-granny.
Although I studied Classical Studies at uni, I always knew I would end up doing something creative with my life and this seems to be it. I have always loved taking photographs, but that passion came alive when I started my photography diploma.
I'm here to give you an insight into photoshoots, encourage you to get behind the lens and hopefully excite you about photography.
Livi
